ST 360 DEFLECTIONS AND REACTIONS OF FRAMES
This equipment allows comparison of experimental and theoretical deflections and reactions of a rectangular portal and an “S” frame when loads are applied. It is to be used with ST300 Universal Structural Frame (separately supplied) for attachment of the accessories.
The frame is made of steel bar with a fixed leg while the other leg can be moved horizontally. Loads are applied vertically and/or horizontally. Moment at the frame fixed leg is measured by a moment support and a horizontal force on the frame free leg is measured by a horizontal force support. Deflection of the frame is measured by a dial indicator.
Instruction manual is also included.
