This equipment allows a study on the relation between deflection of a portal frame under loads in plastic condition. It is to be used with ST300 Universal Structural Frame (separately supplied) for attachment of the accessories.
A portal frame is fixed at both legs on two supports. Loads are applied vertically on the cross member and/or horizontally on one of the legs by force load cell. Deflection of the frame is measured by long stroke displacement force load cell. Loads are applied until frame collapses.
