The equipment is a self-contained unit for the study of basic properties of fluids in hydrostatic conditions.  Water is provided in a storage tank of the bench with a pump to deliver water for the experiments. Accessories for individual experiments are placed on the bench panel and can also be stored in the bench cabinet. The unit is on steel frame on wheels.

This is an open channel with flat top edge for Flow Over A Notch experiment on HB 100G Hydraulics Bench gravimetric or HB 101 Basic Hydraulics Bench.

The unit is to be placed on top of HB 100G or HB 101. Water is admitted to the channel via a discharge diffuser and passes through a perforated sheet. Water is discharged over a detachable weir plate to the end section before draining to the storage tank. A hook and point gauge are placed on the channel top edge for water level measurement. The channel has adjustable footings.

This is a simple service unit which provides water supply and flow measurement for use with accessories for specific experiments (separately supplied).

The bench consists of a storage tank with a drain pipe and a pump with a flow control valve. Flow measurement is by a water meter. The bench top is a stainless steel with an opening where test accessory discharges water to the storage tank. Water from the pump passes through a water meter and discharged to the test accessory by a quick coupling.

The unit is on a steel frame on wheels.

This is a service basic unit for providing water supply and flow rate measurement to the bench accessories (separately supply) for specific experiments.

The bench top is flat fiber glass with edge and open channel which can act as volumetric tank. The accessory for the experiment is placed across the channel and discharges water via a drain pipe to the storage tank which has a drain valve. This is a service unit which provides water supply and gravimetric measurement for use in conjunction with other accessories for specific experiments (separately supplied).

The bench top is flat fiber glass with a raised edge to hold spilled water and has a quick coupling water outlet, water discharge tube as well as 4 drain holes. The experiment accessories on the bench top discharges water to the measuring tank via a tube. A measuring tank is hung on a cantilever beam on ball bearings. An adjustable tare weight and calibrated weights are provided. When the water in the measuring tank exceeds the set weight, the beam will tilt and the measuring tank automatically discharges to the main storage tank which is drained at the bottom. A pump draws water from the storage tank and supplies to the outlet at the top. The unit is on a steel frame on wheels.

This is a service unit which provides water supply and volumetric measurement for use in conjunction with accessories for specific experiments (separately supplied).

The bench top is molded into a measuring tank and a channel and is made of fiber glass. Water is admitted at one end of the channel via a quick coupling for connection to the experiment accessory which is mounted across the channel. The accessory discharges water into the open channel which in turn discharges water into the measuring tank. The tank discharges water to a main storage tank which is drained at the bottom. A pump draws water from the storage tank and supplies to the outlet at the top. The measuring tank is stepped to enable accurate measurement of both high and low flow rates. A level gauge at the side of the bench measures volume in the measuring tank. A bull’s eye level is provided to indicate the bench is level. The unit is on a steel frame on wheels.

This apparatus is for demonstrating the liquid vaporization under low pressure due to high flow velocity such as when water flows through a restriction in a pipe or a water passage. It is to be used with Hydraulics Bench i.e. HB100 or HB100N (separately supplied) for a water supply and flow measurement.

The test section is a transparent Venturi for vapor observation. Pressure and vacuum gauges are connected to pressure tappings at the upstream end and throat respectively of the test section. The test section and the gauges are mounted on a panel. The panel is intended for use with a Hydraulics bench (separately supplied) or an outside water supply with sufficient pressure and flow rate.

This equipment is designed to study head vs flow rate characteristics of two pumps connected in series or parallel. It is to be used with Hydraulics Bench i.e. HB100 or HB100N (separately supplied) for a water supply and flow measurement.

It consists of two identical pumps with 3 different speeds, inter connecting pipings, and control valves. Both pumps are interconnected and mounted on a support next to the Hydraulic Bench. By manipulating flow control valves, the two pumps can be operated individually, or both pumps in series or in parallel. Pressure gauges are installed at pump suction and discharge. This equipment is designed to study of centrifugal pump characteristics at various speed. It is to be used with Hydraulics Bench i.e. HB100 or HB100N (separately supplied) for a water supply and flow measurement.

The pump with motor is mounted on the Hydraulics Bench. An advanced inverter controls speed as well as indicating speed and input power. Pump hoses with half unions are used to connect the pump with the Hydraulics Bench. Pressure gauges are installed at pump suction with half union and also at pump discharge (optional). The pump draws water from the Hydraulics Bench storage tank via a suction hose with a strainer and delivers flow to the Hydraulics Bench measuring tank (HB100) or flow digital display (HB100N).

This equipment demonstrates primary characteristics of flow in an open channel including flow patterns over or around immersed objects. It is to be used with Hydraulics Bench i.e. HB100 or HB100N (separately supplied) for a water supply and flow measurement.

The channel in made of clear acrylic with an undershot weir at inlet and an overshot weir at discharge. Water is admitted to the channel through a cylinder with a stilling baffle to reduce turbulence. A dye injection system is installed at the channel inlet to observe flow patterns around models.

A grid is provided for easy observation of the streamlines.
